What is a Notary Public?

What is a Mobile Notary Public?
A Mobile Notary Public is a Notary Public who holds the same powers and duties that a Notary Public holds, but travels. A Mobile Notary Public travels to the place his / her services are needed.(traveling notary public).
Why use a Mobile Notary Public?
Since there is NOT a day that goes by that someone does not need a Notary Public to complete some form or another, Mobile Notary Publics are in great demand. Many can't go to the Notary Public due to scheduling conflicts, disabilities, hospitalization, child care problems, work schedule, or transportation problems. All of these problems leave a tremendous strain on the person or party requiring the services of a Notary Public to get a document notarized. That is where a MOBILE NOTARY PUBLIC comes in. We will travel to where our services are needed! We will do Notary Public services at times and places other than during normal business hours, in a private office, or other traditional locations.

We do travel to where our services are needed and we keep accurate and detailed records of all services rendered. Payment in cash is required before services are rendered!

We do require proof of identification on ALL persons involved in a notarization and we do not notarize a document with a signature of a non-present person or non-acceptable identification.

We will not break, bend, twist, alter, etc ANY laws, regulations, et al - all such requests to do so will be reported to the proper agencies for legal actions.

We do not convince a person to sign anything but we do determine willingness!

We do not take any form of abuse, coercion, threats, etc during or after an appointment. Legal actions will be taken if necessary.

All information is kept strictly confidential! We will not do ANYTHING deemed unethical, unprofessional, or not in our best interest. NO REFUND GIVEN! We do report all illegal activity to the proper agencies for legal actions. We do not give legal advice as a Notary Public as WE ARE NOT ATTORNEYS. This includes drafting documents.

Information below...
As Mobile Notary Publics we will travel to all of Franklin, Grand-Isle, Chittenden and Lamoille counties in Vermont as our basic coverage area and will travel to all surrounding counties, in Vermont, as an extended coverage area. The fees for traveling in the basic coverage area start at $10.00 for travel and simple notarizations. This fee increases as the distance travelled increases or the complexity of the notarization increases.
